A physician for 30 years, Dr. Spiel has spent the better part of his life taking care of those in need. A consummate professional, he has lectured both nationally and abroad on such diverse topics as radiology, interventional pain, endoscopic spine surgery and regenerative medicine. Many of his patients have survived life-threatening injuries and he has experienced first hand the miracles of medicine and hope. In a life dedicated to science and medicine, it is often at the intersection of prayer and hope where true healing begins for both Doug and his patients.
Doug grew up in Yonkers, New York. He attended college at SUNY Binghamton and completed medical school at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn/Downstate Medical Center.
Doug currently lives in New Jersey with his wife, Donna, and two smallest children. His oldest son attends college at Arizona State University.
